フィリップ・カサール
1962年9月12日生まれ。フランス・ブザンソン出身のピアニスト。子供時代はパリ音楽院で音楽を学び、ピアノ科と室内楽科で次席に選ばれる。国外でニキタ・マガロフらに師事し、クララ・ハスキル・ピアノコンクールに入選。88年にはダブリン国際コンクールで優勝。楽器の特性を研究し尽くして自在な解釈で演奏する新進気鋭のピアニストとして、これまでドビュッシー、シューベルト、シューマンなどの作品で高い評価を得ている。2014年3月発表のソプラノ歌手・デセイが歌う『ドビュッシー:歌曲集「月の光」』にピアニストとして参加。
