ハインツ・ホリガー
1939年、スイス生まれのオーボエ奏者、指揮者、作曲家。ベルン音楽院でオーボエと作曲を学んだ後、バーゼルでピエール・ブーレーズに作曲を師事。パリ高等音楽院でピエール・ピエルロにオーボエを学ぶ。59年にジュネーヴ、61年にミュンヘンの両国際コンクールで優勝し、すぐに5大陸の主要なコンサート・ホールで演奏活動を開始。指揮者としては長年ベルリン・フィル、ウィーン・フィル、ヨーロッパ室内管などのオーケストラや室内楽団と共演している。作曲家としても人気が高まり、オペラ『白雪姫』をはじめ、多くの作品が国際的評価を受けている。
