ヴォルビート
デンマーク出身のヘヴィメタル・バンド。2001年、マイケル・ポールセンとフランツ・ゴットシャークを中心に結成。バンド名はポールセンが在籍したデスメタル・バンド“Dominus”のアルバム『Vol.Beat』にちなむ。伝統的なヘヴィメタルにロカビリーを採り入れたサウンドは、デンマークをはじめとする北欧やドイツ、スイス、オランダ、アメリカなどで人気に。2010年のアルバム『Beyond Hell／Above Heaven』のヒットに続き、2013年4月の『Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies』がビルボードチャート9位と好セールスを記録。同8月、“サマソニ”で初来日を果たす。
