アビー・リンカーン
1930年8月6日、米国イリノイ州シカゴ生まれ。女性ジャズ・ヴォーカリスト。50年代はガビー・リーの名で歌っていたが、56年にアビー・リンカーンに改名。62年にはマックス・ローチと結婚して（1970年に離婚）、彼の政治的主張に影響を受けた。その代表作がキャンディドに録音した『ウイ・インシスト』。また、リバーサイドに録音が多く、『アビー・イズ・ブルー』が有名。ハリウッドのクラブで好評を博し、映画女優としても成功した。2010年8月14日、80歳で他界。
