ヴィルヘルム・ケンプ
ピアニスト。1895年ドイツ、ユーテルボック生まれ。1991年没。ベルリン音楽学校でピアノと作曲でメンデルスゾーン賞を獲得して卒業。演奏活動はその前年から開始している。欧米を中心に活発な演奏活動のかたわら、24年から32年まではシュトゥットガルト音楽学校の校長も務める。戦前から何度か来日し、若い頃からテクニシャンではなくレパートリーも広くはないが、ベートーヴェン以下のドイツ・ロマン派音楽に味わい深い演奏をする。
