ザ・ナック
1978年に米国カリフォルニア州で結成された4人編成のロック・バンド。セッション・ミュージシャンやバンドで活動していた経験豊富なメンバーで構成。カリフォルニアでライヴ活動中に多数のレコード会社が争奪戦を展開。79年鳴り物入りでレコード・デビュー。60年代英国のビート・グループの音楽スタイルそのままに、シンプルでコンパクト、ストレートなギター・ポップを披露。代表曲「マイ・シャローナ」「グッド・ガールズ・ドント」。
