エイミー・ワインハウス
1983年9月14日、英国生まれ。女性シンガー・ソングライター。2003年、アルバム『フランク』でデビュー。ジャズやR＆Bなどからの影響を感じさせる、ソウルフルなヴォーカルを聴かせ話題になる。同作は本国でプラチナ・ディスクに。2006年の2nd『バック・トゥ・ブラック』は全英チャート1位を記録。シングル「リハブ」も大ヒット。2008年の第50回グラミー賞では最優秀新人賞ほか5部門を受賞し一躍世界的な注目を浴び、名実ともに英国を代表するシンガーの一人となった。アルコール依存を克服するためリハビリ施設の入退を繰り返していたが、2011年7月23日、ロンドンの自宅で死去。享年27。
