The Futureheads
2000年頃にバリー・ハイド（g、vo）とジャフ（b、vo）を中心に英国・サンダーランドで結成。後にバリーの弟、デイヴ・ハイド（ds、vo）とロス・ミラード（g、vo）が加入。インディから2枚のシングルを発表した後、ワーナー傘下の679レコーディングスと契約を結び、2004年にアンディ・ギルをプロデューサーに迎えたファースト・アルバム『ザ・フューチャーヘッズ』を発表した。
