ロルフ・ケント
1963年スコットランド生まれの作曲家。80年代後半からテレビ番組の音楽を手掛け、90年代初めに出会ったアレクサンダー・ペイン監督の『CITIZEN RUTH』（96年）で頭角を現わす。以降、『アバウト・シュミット』（02年）、『サイドウェイ』（04年）でペインと共演、他にも『ニューヨークの恋人』（01年）、『恋する40days』（02年）などヒット作を手掛けている。映画音楽の作曲家にしては珍しく、クラシックの教育を受けていない。
