ナイダ・コール
カナダのトロント生まれ。幼少時からピアノのほかにヴァイオリン、フルートも学ぶ。ピーボディ音楽院でレオン・フライシャーに師事。97年にヴァン・クライバーン国際ピアノ・コンクールで最優秀室内楽演奏賞を受賞して頭角を現す。カナダ国内の主要オーケストラのほか、クレーメルのクレメラータ・バルティカなどとも共演。99年にはカナダ人初のドイツ・グラモフォン契約アーティストとなり、世界デビューを果たす。
