ラファエル・クーベリック
指揮者。1914年チェコのビホリー生まれ。96年没。34年にチェコ・フィルを振ってデビュー。48年にチェコの共産化を嫌って西独に亡命。61年から79年までバイエルン放送交響楽団の首席指揮者として、同楽団を世界のトップ・レベルにまで引き上げた。86年に引退したあとは作曲に専念。ドイツ音楽、スラヴ音楽に秀でている。なかでもマーラーは彼の中枢を占めていた。
