ミーコ
1939年11月29日生まれ、米・ペンシルヴェニア州ジョンソンバーグ出身のイタリア系アメリカン・プロデューサー／ミュージシャン、ドメニコ・モナードによるディスコ・ユニット。ジャズ・バンドやスタジオ・ミュージシャンのほか、アレンジャーやプロデューサーとして活動。77年に発表した映画『スター・ウォーズ』の音楽のディスコ・アルバム『スター・ウォーズ～銀河系ファンクの世界』は、翌年のグラミー賞にもノミネート。以降もコンスタントにアルバムを制作。85年に音楽シーンから退き、2023年5月26日にフロリダ州タマラックの自宅で死去。83歳没。
