ロリー・ギャラガー
1948年アイルランド生まれ。ギター演奏の虜になったロリーは地元のフォンタナ・ショウ・バンドで音楽活動開始。その後、トリオ編成のバンドを組み西独のハンブルクで演奏。66年スキッフルのロニー・ドネガンの音楽に触発され、自分のグループ、テイストを結成し、69年『Taste』でグループ・デビュー。ワイルドで泣きの入ったブルース・ギター演奏を披露する。71年からソロとして活動するが、ライヴ・アルバムに聴くべきものが多い。
