Marshall Jefferson
米国シカゴ出身のプロデューサー／DJ。ハウス・ミュージックの先駆者とされている。もともとはスタジオで仕事をしていたが、Trax Recordsのラリー・シャーマンと出会ったことでダンス・ミュージックの世界に。シーケンサー内臓のシンセサイザー“TB-303”を用い、80年代後半にPhutureの「Acid Tracks」といった定番曲を制作した。テン・シティやキム・マゼルなどを成功に導いた手腕も高く評価されている。
